Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and grated ginger. Whisk until well blended.
  • Marinate the Salmon: Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Place them in the bowl with the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes for enhanced flavor.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook the Salmon: Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Glaze the Salmon: Brush additional marinade over the salmon halfway through the cooking time for extra flavor and glaze.
  • Garnish and Serve: Once done, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
